Longboard Adverts

 

These were adverts that we had to do for college, we had to create long board adverts and logo for a magazine. I was stuck whether I should use the black or green stripe but personally I prefer the green stripe maybe because I kinda like the colour green that might be it or because it looks better.

Memoirs of a good movie

 

Albeit this is an excellent movie designing a poster for it was not so easy because I  really wanted to use a portrait for my poster but the original movie poster had the exact same portrait I wanted to use . I had to improvise and I'm pretty chuffed only problem is I don't know which one to chose to hand in. 

Some Serious Ads

A designers jobs is not only to make things look "pretty" but it is to inform and to cause a reaction . These adverts are emotionally gripping and some are quite shocking but they get the message across effectively and simply. These images were sourced from tutorart

Typography posters have been plaguing my mind for the past three weeks and this is the final product of my hard labour.  Though I must say creating this pinstripe texture was a pretty amazing feeling even though it was just me recreating a texture from the net

Let the Advertising begin

 Its a simple process of where to begin and in my case I began with photo's and some ideas. none of which actually materialized instead I just developed them as I went along so here they are billboards we were asked to design for photography simply we had to take photo's and add our logo into them but give it the right type of look that would go with our brand.

  This is a poster I did for church. I am aware of the plagiarism with the apple logo

but it is for church and not an ad campaign...I'm just saying.

These banners were for a music preaching series in youth called Uncut

it was my first project for youth

Th(ink) Poster

A socially responsible poster designed by me for class. It was really difficult taking the photo because I at the time didn't have enough knowledge on photographic lighting, I also didn't have enough lights.But I feel I got the message across

One of my proud moments last year was when I completed this poster,
it was for  an energy drink brand we had to create for class . I had some difficulty portraying an abstract idea and feeling rather than a tangible thing.











This was my funky moment this year
I got asked to do some graphics for church so I was able to get in touch with my young self I really had to wing this one because I didn't have allot of planing time. But I feel it was successful
